Crossing time and place, symbolism and mythologies attempt to bring us into harmony with that which is beyond the metaphor. Beauty lies in the variations of cultural expression. I travel in an attempt to bring myself into relationship with those cultures similar to my own as well as to those that are very different.My studies continue to reveal cross-cultural threads.My paintings celebrate the variety of metaphoric expression with respect to that which underlies and connects us all.
