Mitch Lyons

Mitch Lyons received two degrees, a Masters of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Tyler School of Art, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He creates clay monoprints, an image made from a slab of clay. His monoprints are displayed in various collections throught the country, such as the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Woodmere Museum, American University and the University of Delaware.

Mitch Lyons was a teacher at West Chester University, Moore College of Art, Rowan University, Alfred University, and the University of Delaware. He received a Pennsylvania Council of the arts Visual Arts Grant. Lyons had his work shown in exhibits at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Virginia museum of Fine Arts, Noyes Museum in New Jersey, Kalmar Lans Museum in Kalmar, Sweden, and the Vonderau Museum in Fulda, Germany.
